Some veterans will be keenly feeling the impact of current events in Afghanistan.  Individuals and their families may be profoundly affected, but there is support available and they are absolutely not alone.

Government and charity provision is much better co-ordinated in 2021, and the links below can all be lifesavers for those in crisis, but understanding, empathy and a listening ear can go a long way.

 What can be done?

Talk to those that you feel may be impacted.  Communities – veteran groups, Armed Forces champions and veterans in the business all have a role to play.Clearly signposting services to help and support:
